Who we are

La Coquí Culinary Co. is a family-owned Puerto Rican culinary brand built on tradition, passion, and community. Operated by Mike and Jesenia Alvis alongside their teenage son, Tony, our story began in the summer of 2025 as a simple lemonade pop-up stand rooted in family values and cultural pride.

What started with handcrafted lemonades quickly grew into something bigger. As demand increased and our vision expanded, we evolved into offering hot, handcrafted Puerto Rican foods and thoughtfully curated menus for pop-ups, private events, and celebrations of all kinds.

Today, La Coquí Culinary Co. proudly serves authentic Puerto Rican cuisine made with care, intention, and respect for tradition. Every dish reflects our heritage, our love for bringing people together, and our commitment to quality.

As we continue to grow into catering and larger-scale events, our long-term goal is to open our first brick-and-mortar location, creating a welcoming space where culture, flavor, and community can thrive together.
